The square tray fit neatly under my gas grate and the center opening stayed clear of the burner. I installed it with the stove completely cool.
It took only a minute to center the opening around the burner and check that the igniter was not covered. The raised edge feels more useful than loose foil.
I added one around each burner and the stovetop immediately looked more organized. The trays sit flat once the grates are back in place.
I liked that I could position the liner without blocking the igniter. The square shape works well with the layout of my stove.
Grease from eggs and bacon landed on the foil tray instead of all over the black glass. I still wipe the stove, but cleanup is faster.
A little tomato sauce bubbled over and the liner caught most of it. I let everything cool before removing the tray.
After a busy dinner, most of the crumbs and seasoning were sitting in the liner. It kept them from spreading into the narrow gaps.
The liner contains small splashes well, so I can wipe the open surface without chasing grease around the burner base.
Once the stove was fully cool, I lifted out the messy tray and replaced it. That was much easier than scrubbing dried food from the burner area.
I use these for the busiest cooking nights. The used liner goes straight into the trash after it has cooled, and the stove underneath stays cleaner.
Boiling pasta usually leaves little splashes everywhere. This tray caught the mess close to the burner and made the next-day wipe down easier.
I keep one under the burner I use for the kettle. It handles the occasional splash and still looks tidy between cleanings.
The shiny surface makes cooked-on drops easy to see, so I know when the tray needs replacing. The raised rim holds small messes well.
The liners stack flat in my kitchen drawer and are easy to grab when one gets too greasy. They take up very little space.
I measured the burner opening before installing one and the square tray fit well. Taking a moment to check the size made a difference.
The tray was close to the right size, but my burner layout is unusual and I had to make a careful small trim. It works well now.
The aluminum is light, so I had to flatten the edges before putting the grate back. Once seated, it did a good job catching splatter.
The liner stayed in place while I simmered soup and caught a few drips from the spoon. It did not interfere with the burner.
My older stove needed a small adjustment, so I trimmed the foil away from the appliance while everything was cool. It fit much better afterward.
These have a real raised edge and center opening, so they feel more secure than trying to shape a sheet of kitchen foil around the burner.
