The elastic edge stretched over our round sink basket in a few seconds. It stayed in place while I rinsed the first load of dishes.
Tiny herb pieces and vegetable bits collected in the mesh instead of sitting around the drain. Water still passed through normally.
After rinsing dishes I lifted the bag by the edge and the wet scraps came out together. Cleanup was much less unpleasant.
I like that I do not have to scoop soggy food from the metal basket by hand. The bag lifts out neatly when it is time to empty the sink.
It caught coffee grounds, crumbs, and little pieces of egg after breakfast. The sink basket was much faster to rinse afterward.
Loose tea leaves used to stick in every hole of our strainer. This fine mesh catches them well and makes the final cleanup simple.
Rice is the main reason I bought these. The small grains stayed inside the bag while the rinse water drained away.
I tried one in a small bathroom basket and it worked, though the elastic sat a little looser there than it does in the kitchen sink.
The bag caught pasta pieces and herbs while I rinsed the plates. I could lift everything out at once instead of picking through the drain.
Carrot and potato peel pieces stayed in the mesh during meal prep. It keeps those little scraps from slipping deeper into the drain.
Once stretched over the basket, the elastic kept the opening wide enough to catch scraps from the whole sink. It did not collapse during rinsing.
My mom can remove the filled bag without digging into the basket. She ties it off and drops it in the trash with very little mess.
After a family meal the bag held rice, herbs, and small vegetable pieces without blocking the water right away. The sink looked cleaner afterward.
It fits my compact apartment strainer, but I had to adjust the elastic around the rim once to keep it even. After that it worked well.
I rinsed strawberries and the bag collected loose leaves and small bits near the drain. It was easy to see what would otherwise have washed down.
The mesh gathers together easily when I lift it out. I can tie the top and carry the wet scraps straight to the trash without dripping everywhere.
Replacing a used bag is quick. I stretch a new one over the basket after wiping the sink and it is ready for the next round of dishes.
Potato peel bits and herb stems stayed in the bag while I rinsed the cutting board. It is a small thing that makes meal prep cleanup easier.
I lifted the onion skins and herbs out together and carried them directly to the trash. The mesh held the damp scraps without falling apart.
