The Santa kit has a beautiful mix of pearl-like beads and sparkling stones. The raised texture catches the tree lights in a way that flat printed ornaments do not.
The symbols were easy to follow once I sorted the colors into the tray. I worked in short sessions and finished the Christmas tree design without feeling rushed.
The placement pen, wax, tray, chain, and bead packets were all included. I only added a small storage box to keep the colors separate between sessions.
I chose the reindeer and hung it where afternoon light reaches the beads. The scalloped acrylic edge and dimensional sparkle are visible from across the room.
The completed Santa ornament fit perfectly in a small kraft box with tissue paper. It feels personal because I assembled it, yet the finished piece looks polished.
We worked on separate sections of the Santa design and took turns using the placement pens. An adult handled the small parts and chain, and the activity kept us engaged for an afternoon.
Once the beadwork was finished, I connected the metal chain through the two top holes. It hangs evenly and is light enough for a wreath hook or window hanger.
The white pearls give the snowman extra dimension, while the colored rhinestones add bright accents. It stands out nicely among our traditional ornaments.
The shine comes from the beads instead of glitter dust, so my craft table stayed much cleaner. Pressing each section firmly at the end helped everything feel secure.
This was my first diamond art project, and the printed placement guide was straightforward. Starting with one color at a time made the process easy to manage.
I completed Santa first and later added the tree, reindeer, and snowman. They share the same round scalloped shape and pearl finish, so the set looks cohesive together.
I set the tray on a placemat and sorted the small packets before starting. The repetitive placement was calming, and the ornament gradually came to life.
The background has enough grip to keep the beads where they belong while I work. I kept the protective film over the sections I was not using.
The combination of different bead sizes creates depth in the beard, trim, and snow details. Small gaps are easy to spot and correct before hanging it.
I made the Christmas tree version for a friend who loves handmade decor. The included hanging chain meant it was ready to display as soon as she opened the box.
The small pieces require concentration, but the process is satisfying and the final ornament feels substantial. Good lighting made the symbols much easier to see.
The brown, gold, red, and pearl accents balance nicely, and the antlers have plenty of sparkle. It looks especially good against evergreen branches.
The ornament is dimensional without being bulky. I wrap it in tissue and place it in a shallow ornament box so the beadwork does not rub against other decorations.
The finished snowman is adorable, but a few pearl sizes are easy to mix up. Sorting the packets first and keeping the tray away from the table edge helped a lot.
The detailed Santa pattern needed several focused sessions rather than one quick evening. The result is worth it, but beginners should plan extra time and good lighting.
